How Daisy came to the sanctuary
Daisy was found tied to a fence post on a county road outside Driftwood with no food, no water, and a note that simply said 'too big.' She was 80 pounds underweight and terrified of every sound.
Two months of slow, patient care later, Daisy now trots to the gate every morning to greet her caretakers. She shares a barn with two other rescued pigs and has decided that the sunny patch by the water trough is hers and hers alone.
