Foster a farm animal

Foster homes save lives. They give recovering animals a quieter space to heal, and they free up sanctuary stalls for the next emergency.

Why foster

You don't have to commit to forever to save a life

Every animal we take into foster care is one more we can rescue. Fostering is short-term, fully supported, and one of the most meaningful things you can do for farm animals in your community.

We cover the costs

Food, hay, veterinary care, medication, and supplies are all on us. You provide the home and the love.

Short-term commitment

Fosters typically last 2–8 weeks, depending on the animal's recovery and the adopter timeline.

We're always on call

Questions at 2am? Worried about a behavior? Our team is one call away, every day of your foster.

First right of adoption

If you fall in love (and many do), you get first chance to formally adopt before we open the listing.
